George has been in education in the public high schools since 2016. He is a Career Technical Educator hired by Ventura County, CA to use real-world industry knowledge to build up the next generation of composers. Recognizing the large gender gap in male to female professional composers (94% to 6%), George encouraged some of his students and other post-school females who aspired to be composers to pursue their dreams and thus created The League of Young Women Composers (LYWC).
