Some people look for you and find you in a dark and empty space

Some people hear your voice and open up to feel the warm embrace

You are a breath of air, brings us life and fills from above

You are the Lord of all, God you are the messenger of love.

Your voice it carries me and speaks a truth that’s seldom ever heard

And when I hunger, thirst, you fill me with your everlasting word

You are my saving grace, when I’m in shame you fill me from above

Today I thought about a bird, sings everything its ever heard

Its like you whispered in my ear, telling me you’re always near.

And people know its real but always try to hide

It’s only a matter of time before you both collide

An unlikely place for a reward

An unlikely circumstance that I ignored

A divine conspiracy, a perfect plan

Yet I walked away, I couldn’t understand

You tried to open up my eyes

You never left me, when I was covered in those lies, those lies

Awakening from all my fear

Your voice was calling me, though I chose not to hear

I kept my distance, out on my own

When all you want from me, was to come home

But I wasn’t ready to confess

You couldn’t help me, until I reached the furthest depths – cause

You took the emptiness and made me whole

You led me down the path of grace

You filled the hole that no one could replace

Of thanks for what you’ve done.

But there’s nothing that I can say,

That‘d ever be enough.

I’m speechless at the breath I breathe

There are no words to speak when I’m within your presence

I’m rendered breathless by your touch

When you come over me I’m silenced in your Spirit

I am astounded by the wonder of your never-ending love

I know I fall short for your affection – yet you chase after me

I look up to you and I wonder – Will you ever believe?

Is there any difference from a man of peace a man of war

Is there a measure of the love you have for rich or poor

Is there any wonder that we’re so caught up in what is wrong and right

Isn’t it the time to put down our guns and start the fight

Here I am

Break me from this world

Take me to the places that need love and mercy

Fill me with a fire

I will lay my own desires

To be your body of love

Can we start a revolution without fear and without pain

When we gonna overcome the prejudice and righteous blame

Don’t you have a reason for the joy that’s filled within your heart?

It will never see the light of day until you start

And in a word, we’ve lost our innocence – in a sense

And in this broken place with no defense, who will hear the call?

Here I am, break me from this place and mold me in your arms

Cause I know that it wont be very long – till I can see your face

Time is running out

What is this walk in a life all about

At the ending of the day

Did I live the life or walk away

And so I ask myself

If the world would end today did the things I say honor you, honor you

If my world is melting down will I make a sound that honors you, honors you

Cause there’s never gonna be a perfect day

To wipe all the troubles of the world away

When all is said then did I honor you.

We’ve been so confused

All the rhetoric, is what we abuse

All the lost words that we say, do they matter anyway cause

Over and over I ask myself

If the world would end today did the things I say honor you, honor you

If my world is melting down will I make a sound that honors you, honors you

Cause there’s never gonna be a perfect day

To wipe all the troubles of the world away

When all is said then did I honor.

Where did we go wrong?

How come there is this self-righteous song

Was this really meant to be the way

Or did we all go astray, can we recapture this day?

How long will we be lost?

Time is running out and it’s too late

For us to wait for someone else to do it
